Tariffs will continue to rise until “Illegal Immigration stops”.

However, the USMCA deal that the US has signed with Mexico is part of the problem in insisting that the minimum wage in Mexico is US$16 on imported goods to the US. Central American workers have no hope of realizing wages like that so are attempting to get into the States before the USMCA deal is ratified. This is going to be a huge mess, and its not even a problem of Mexico’s making, its a US trade policy issue.
